Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior C#/.NET Developer to support a large-scale application modernization within a Capital Markets technology environment. You will redesign a legacy backend platform, drive automation, and collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.

You will work on complex backend systems using C#/.NET, participate in design and development, and contribute to modernization efforts through RESTful APIs, microservices, and SOLID practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing applications with C# and .NET.
• Experience with .NET Core and backend application development.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and database design concepts.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Strong understanding of unit testing methodologies and SOLID design principles.
• Ability to analyze and modernize complex legacy systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience collaborating across multiple teams.
• Experience gathering requirements and working directly with business stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work on enterprise-scale application development projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience within banking, financial services, or capital markets environments.
• Exposure to Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with Azure development or cloud-based architectures.
• Knowledge of MongoDB or WPF.
• Experience supporting application modernization, automation, or AI-focused initiatives.
