Job summary

Certarus Ltd. is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors, translate business needs into system solutions, and manage technology initiatives from design through adoption.

You will lead requirements gathering, process improvement, and post-go-live support while partnering with IT Transformation to align roadmaps with governance and security standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a BA / Business Systems Analyst role supporting business applications and SaaS platforms.
• Proven project management experience with timelines, risks, dependencies, vendors and stakeholders.
• Strong business analysis skills: requirements gathering, process evaluation, solution design.
• Experience guiding technology initiatives through design, testing, deployment and post-go-live support.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, documentation and organization.

Responsibilities

Description

Summary

Certarus has created an innovative technology platform to drive business efficiencies and support the Company’s continued growth through a combination of cloud-based infrastructure, in-house software development, and modern Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) systems.

Reporting to the Manager, Business Applications & IT Transformation, the successful candidate will work with internal stakeholders and external vendors to understand business requirements, plan process changes, support solution design, and manage technology initiatives from design through implementation and adoption.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to understand business processes, gather requirements, and translate operational needs into system solutions.
• Support system and process design, including evaluating solutions, validating designs with stakeholders, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
• Lead project management and delivery for assigned technology initiatives, including project planning, stakeholder coordination, risk and dependency management, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Coordinate technical activities including system configuration, integrations, data readiness, UAT, and defect resolution with internal teams and external vendors.
• Perform functional QA of system changes and enhancements, identifying defects prior to business testing.
• Support change management, training, communications, and user adoption for new processes and system changes.
• Evaluate and prioritize enhancement requests and new requirements based on business needs, impact, dependencies, and application roadmaps.
• Support the day-to-day administration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement of assigned business applications.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, process maps, training materials, and user guides, and provide ongoing guidance and support to end users.
• Support additional business applications and technology initiatives as organizational priorities evolve, while ensuring alignment with Certarus’ application governance and security requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager, Business Applications & IT Transformation, to support business needs.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Business Technology Analyst, or similar role supporting business applications and SaaS platforms.
• Demonstrated project management experience, including managing timelines, risks, dependencies, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong business analysis skills with experience gathering requirements, evaluating business processes, and supporting solution design.
• Experience supporting technology initiatives through design, testing/UAT, deployment, change management, and post-go-live support.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, documentation, organization, and critical-thinking skills.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, service-oriented, and comfortable working in an environment with changing requirements and competing priorities.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Assets

• Experience with Field Service Management (FSM), EAM/CMMS, workforce scheduling and dispatch, maintenance/work orders, inventory and procurement, logistics, field ticketing, timekeeping, or payroll-related systems .
• Experience working with enterprise SaaS vendors and integrated business applications.
• PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification .
• Proficiency in process-mapping tools.
• Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
