The Senior Business Systems Consultant acts as a liaison between business clients and IT, leading team projects, providing advanced knowledge on systems requirements, solutions, and business services, and offering guidance and mentorship to other business systems analysts.

How You Will Create Impact

The Senior Business Systems Consultant will play a key role in operational governance and provide expertise and mature systems thinking. This role will oversee and execute remediation for KPIs and govern ServiceNow platform technology changes. The incumbent will ensure contracts are current and adhered to, working with vendor governance where appropriate. They will participate in developing business cases and evaluating proposals, collaborating with business and IT teams, project managers, application architects, and solution designers to assist management in prioritizing initiatives. They will also be involved in project planning, presenting functional designs, issues, and solutions at all organizational levels. A fundamental responsibility is to provide mature systems thinking, oversee complex integrations, understand key connectors, and streamline and automate processes where possible. The role will be instrumental in developing and executing an automation roadmap to maximize value through automation.

To Join Our Team

• Post-secondary education in Business Analysis or Computer Science
• 10+ years of experience in service delivery with a focus on IT Service Management and extensive experience with ServiceNow
• Strong understanding of technology platforms, API integration, analytical and problem-solving skills, communication skills, and partnering abilities
• Proficiency in developing business cases and utilizing Agile methodology
• Knowledge or experience in vendor management and contracts is an asset
• Service Management and ServiceNow certifications are assets
