Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to design, develop, and maintain connections between business stakeholders and the Corporate Service Management Technology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business systems analysis, service management, Agile methodologies, and a passion for driving technological solutions that improve business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assess business needs through structured requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and change management; prioritize needs and recommend solutions considering risks and benefits.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to elicit, document, and analyze requirements for new projects, enhancements, or process improvements.
  3. Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications for IT development teams.
  4. Create process flowcharts, data models, and visual representations of solutions.
  5. Assist in designing technology solutions aligned with business needs.
  6. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring clear communication.
  7. Present findings and recommendations to management effectively.
  8. Ensure requirements are well-written to facilitate solution development by IT teams.
  9. Work with security and compliance teams to address vulnerabilities and risks.
  10. Bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, contributing to process improvements.
  11. Apply Agile methodologies, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  12. Collaborate with Scrum Masters and Product Owners to manage the product backlog and define user stories.
Qualifications
  • University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst with a successful project management record.
  • Knowledge of service management processes: Change, Incident, Problem Management, Configuration & Discovery, Monitoring, Automation & Fulfillment.
  • Strong technical knowledge and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
