Vancity is hiring a Senior Business Systems Analyst for a 12‑month contract in Vancouver. You will bridge business needs with technology, leading end‑to‑end platform initiatives for digital banking for retail and SMB, with a hybrid work arrangement and on‑site events.

You will need strong business analysis credentials, 7+ years of experience, and proven Agile delivery skills, plus collaboration with architects and vendors to deliver high‑quality solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in business systems analysis, business analysis, or solution delivery roles.
• Demonstrated experience translating complex business requirements into technical solution designs within enterprise environments.
• Proven experience with system integrations, platform implementations, and software delivery lifecycles.
• Strong knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies, product backlogs, requirements gathering, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing complex business requirements and translating them into effective technical solution designs.
• Review and finalize business requirements and manage product backlog items to enhance customer experiences and achieve business objectives.
• Owning technical solutions and leading end-to-end implementation of platform initiatives related to Digital banking platform for retail and SMB.
• Establishing non-functional requirements and supporting system configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
• Developing interface requirements documentation and creating detailed backlog items for delivery teams.
