Role Overview
As a Business Systems Analyst, you will:
- Analyze and develop technical requirements based on solution documentation.
- Ensure the integrity of business and technical requirements throughout the customer journey.
- Lead joint application design sessions with architecture, development, and security teams to inform estimates for initiatives.
- Facilitate requirements gathering with stakeholders, translating needs into use cases, user stories, and diagrams.
- Lead enterprise process engineering across infrastructure, Security, DevOps, and cryptography teams.
- Maintain the product backlog and forecasted delivery timelines.
- Bridge communication between business and IT, aligning on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Contribute to improving engineering practices by providing feedback and suggestions.
Candidate Skills and Experience
Must Have Skills:
- 7+ years as a Business Systems Analyst in a challenging IT environment.
- 5+ years with REST APIs and microservices.
- 7+ years in an agile environment, creating BSA artifacts.
- 3+ years as a Delivery Lead.
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Banking experience.
- Experience as a Scrum Master.
Soft Skills:
- Detail-oriented with a focus on consistency.
- Self-motivated with the ability to simplify and navigate ambiguity.
- Effective communicator ensuring alignment among teams.
- Capable of multitasking across initiatives.
- Continuous learner, excited about new projects.
- Team player who collaborates and shares knowledge.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
