Senior Business Information Management Analyst

Pay Details: $76,800 - $115,200 CAD

The TDS Reference Data Masters team plays a critical role in defining reference data strategies across our Data Masters and executing them in partnership with Operations, Technology, and Stakeholders. We aim to deliver strategic data solutions, capabilities, and trusted data by understanding business needs.

In the Chief Data Office, we embody TD's Shared Commitments: executing with speed and impact, innovating with purpose, acting like owners, thinking like customers, and developing colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define requirements for Master Data Domains.
  • Analyze complex Party and Account data across Capital Market systems to identify issues, improve data quality, and ensure standards compliance.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications for data solutions.
  • Document requirements, data flows, data dictionaries, and governance processes thoroughly.
  • Support the execution of reference data strategies across data masters, aligning with business needs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Work with data owners and users to understand needs, resolve challenges, and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Define system design for data platforms and integration processes.
  • Serve as a liaison among Operations, Technology, and Project teams.
  • Address data challenges by understanding business requirements.
  • Assist in planning and executing integration projects.
  • Support testing efforts, including test case execution and defect tracking.
  • Participate actively in team activities, promote a positive environment, and communicate effectively.
  • Share industry knowledge and participate in knowledge transfer initiatives.
  • Work independently on tasks and mentor others as needed.
  • Update senior management and stakeholders on project status, risks, and impacts.
  • Demonstrate TD's Framework and shared commitments daily.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree or technical certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with Capital Markets experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of capital markets terminology, client databases (e.g., BBG, GLEIF), and corporate structures.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Visio, Python, and reporting tools like Tableau or Power BI is advantageous.
  • Experience with JIRA for requirements management and collaboration in Agile teams.
  • Strategic thinker with creative problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative and engaging personality for stakeholder partnership.
  • Motivated with a positive attitude towards risk and control issues.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with initiative and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communicator across business partners.
