Job summary

Capgemini Canada is seeking a Data Analyst who blends Management Consulting with Business Intelligence/Analytics to frame client problems, gather requirements and document use cases. You will design functional deliverables and lead workshops with business and IT, guiding data engineers and developers to deliver high-quality outputs.

You will work with Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Power BI and Azure data services, while applying data governance and master data management principles.

Job description

The ideal candidate has a blend of experience in both Management Consulting and Business Intelligence/ Analytics/Data Science to be able to work with clients to identify and frame their business problems, gather requirements, document use cases and functional design.

Data Analyst Skills include:

A Business Data Analyst (BA) at Capgemini will focus on the analysis, design and development of functional solutions for clients in a team environment. He/she will work alongside functional and industry specialists to assist with the creation of functional deliverables using established processes and procedures. He/she will contribute to client satisfaction by providing timely and responsive value‑added services and work products and use individual functional knowledge to ensure work products and deliverables are of the highest caliber to ensure client satisfaction. Work will be performed under direct supervision to complete assigned tasks using already established procedures and best practices.

Business Analyst Is Responsible For:
  • Gather business requirements with business.

Technical Experience Requirement

Experience working with Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Power BI, Azure Data Services, or comparable cloud-based data platforms.

Knowledge of data governance, data quality, metadata management, and master data management principles.

Experience supporting Agile and SAFe delivery frameworks.

Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.

Experience creating process flows, business requirement documents (BRDs), functional requirement documents (FRDs), user stories, and use cases.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $90,400 to $125,090.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction. These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
