Job summary

Randstad Canada is seeking a Senior Business Analyst (Login & Authentication Experience) to join the digital platform engineering group on a 6‑month contract. You will translate business and guest experience strategies into technical requirements for the Login Experience team, author user stories, map processes, and drive alignment across Product, Engineering, QE, and Architecture in an Agile setup.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of dedicated experience as a Business Analyst, primarily supporting digital web/mobile products or technology platforms.
• Large‑scale initiative leadership with cross‑functional dependencies.
• Agile software delivery experience—discovery, sprint planning, story grooming, testing, release cycles.
• Proficient with JIRA and Confluence to manage requirements and documentation.
• Strong communication and facilitation to bridge gaps between technical and business stakeholders.
• Analytical, with strong trade‑off decision making for business goals vs. technical constraints.
• Familiarity with user authentication concepts (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SSO) and identity platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and refinement for digital initiatives.
• Translate strategy into epics, features, and user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Map dependencies across Login, Identity, Guest Account Services, and digital platforms.
• Facilitate discovery workshops and backlog grooming with stakeholders.
• Ensure acceptance criteria are testable and support end‑to‑end validation with QE.
• Create process flows, diagrams, requirement matrices, and release docs.
• Assist teams through lifecycle to resolve gaps and support production releases.
