Join to apply for the Senior Business Analyst, IAM (GS) role at RBC.

The Identity Access Management (IAM) Business Systems Analysis team, within Global Security (GS), is undertaking multiple complex enterprise and customer-related IAM initiatives. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing project activities to ensure objectives are met and work is completed accordingly. The BA analyzes IAM requirements and business processes through current and future state analysis, requirements elicitation, and solutions identification, in collaboration with IAM IT, Strategy, and various lines of business.

What will you do?

• Understand the business context and assess impacts of proposed changes to people, processes, access management, security policies, and technology.
• Complete BA project activities such as gap analysis, assessing and recommending solutions, investigating business situations, and identifying improvement options.
• Identify potential issues, conflicts, and risks; analyze, mitigate, and escalate as needed.
• Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives and manage deliverables.
• Build strong relationships across business units and platforms, influencing key stakeholders and integrating initiatives into RBC procedures.
• Contribute to administrative activities and support portfolio objectives with business analysis expertise.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

• Relevant degree or work experience in Business Analysis.
• 3-5 years of Business Analysis experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to facilitate discussions and influence stakeholders.
• Understanding of Logical Access Security concepts and standards.
• Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies and SDLC fundamentals.

Nice-to-have:

• Knowledge of IAM practices and technologies (e.g., Entra ID, Okta, CyberArk).
• Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, CISSP, or related Masters Certificates.
