Job summary

Government of Yukon is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for the Health & Social Services Information Management unit in Whitehorse. This full-time, term position until March 31, 2028, requires leading needs assessments, feasibility studies, and business cases for mid-to-large IT projects and ensuring alignment with department goals.

You will guide market research, develop specifications, and coordinate user acceptance testing, while collaborating with stakeholders to improve service delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, Health Informatics or relevant program of study.
• Experience eliciting and documenting business requirements using BPMN diagrams, use cases, and ER diagrams.
• Recent experience leading users through user acceptance testing including UAT tests/plans.
• Experience contributing to market research activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead needs assessments, feasibility studies, business cases, specifications, and market research for assigned projects.
• Provide senior technical leadership in alignment with department goals and objectives.
• Work on medium to large-scale projects to improve service delivery within Health and Social Services.
