A leading company in tech solutions is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to define requirements and aid clients in realizing their customer experience vision. The role involves collaboration with clients and development teams, ensuring alignment and success through effective analysis and clear communication. You will guide projects by prioritizing customer needs and managing expectations, all while contributing to best practices and mentoring juniors in a vibrant team environment.
As a Senior Business Analyst in Services, your goal is to define the essential requirements to enable our customers to achieve their objectives and realize their customer experience vision. You work closely with both our customers and development / SCRUM teams. You are the customer’s proxy product owner for a project and guide the team in making the right choices to maximize project and customer success. Our clients and implementation partners see you as a trusted consultant. You analyze, capture, and prioritize customer requirements for new customer experience initiatives. You identify product improvements and harvestable features. You define and actively improve best practices in your day-to-day work. You provide guidance to clients on the best usage of our product as well as customization. Where customization might be necessary, you also work with Backbase R&D colleagues to explore all out-of-the-box product options and, where the product cannot be used, you recommend enhancements. On the customer side, you manage expectations and help translate their vision into a sound project backlog. You are seen as an expert by clients. You lead engaging workshops with customers to identify all functional requirements needed. You actively contribute to the BA Chapter / Guild and provide mentoring to Junior Business Analysts.
What you'll do
You work closely with our customers and the Backbase UX design and development teams. You are the product owner for a project, guiding the team to make the right choices for success. You analyze, capture, and prioritize customer requirements for new initiatives, perform business process gap analysis, and write user stories. You address unique project challenges with quick, effective solutions.
On the customer side, you manage expectations and translate their vision into a project backlog. You should have knowledge of Agile methodologies to organize workshops and gather technical requirements, especially for customers not working in Agile.
