SE Health is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support the Risk Management Central (RMC) project, expanding RL6 from incident management to enterprise risk management. You will work with stakeholders and vendor partners to elicit and document requirements, analyze processes, and support testing and go-live readiness.

The role emphasizes collaboration across business, operations, and IT, with a strong emphasis on requirements management, reporting, and analytics.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business / Information Systems / Health Sciences or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of business analysis experience.
• Experience in healthcare, compliance, risk management or incident management is an asset.

Job description

Position Summary:

The Senior Business Analyst will support the implementation of the Risk Management Central (RMC) project, an initiative to expand RL6 from a clinical incident management platform to a centralized enterprise risk management solution. Working closely with business stakeholders, project team members, and vendor partners, the Business Analyst will be responsible for eliciting, documenting, validating, and managing business requirements, analyzing current and future state processes, supporting testing activities and ensuring business needs are accurately translated into project deliverables.

Duration:

6-month contract with a possibility of extension

Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering and Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with business, operational and technical stakeholders to understand business needs, objectives and use cases.
• Participate in and facilitate interviews, focus groups, and workflow observations to identify pain points and elicit requirements.
• Document functional and non-functional requirements for system solutions, ensuring sufficient requirements management and tracking.
• Maintain business relationships with stakeholders to ensure successful implementations that enable system-wide improvements and sustainability.
• Collaborate with vendor resources to review requirements, solution options, and system capabilities.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) requirements with end-users.
• Document issues and ensure resolution prior to go-live.
• Gather and document reporting, dashboard, and analytics requirements.
• Document reporting limitations, assumptions, and business impacts.
  

Process Improvement and Workflow Optimization

• Map current and future-state workflows using tools like Visio and others.
• Document bottlenecks and inefficiencies in operational processes.
• Support sustainability planning and ensure a smooth support handover to IS Ops at project closure.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business / Information Systems / Health Sciences or related field with supplemental business education is preferred (equivalent education and experience will be considered)
• Minimum 3 to 5 years’ business analysis experience
• Healthcare, compliance, risk management or incident management experience considered an asset.
• Experience supporting software implementation, business transformation, or enterprise application projects.
• Experience working with RL6 considered an asset
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including cross-functional communication (experience with group facilitation is preferred)
• Certified Business Analysis Profession (CBAP) certification preferred
• Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office applications
• Strong teamwork orientation and ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams
