Raise is currently hiring a Senior Business Analyst on behalf of one of our top clients, a major Canadian airline. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Job Overview
Seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Business Analyst (BA) to join our digital product team on a contract basis. This role will support the evolution of our content management system (Adobe Experience Manager). As a BA, you will serve as a strategic partner between business stakeholders and the technical team to ensure content-driven digital experiences are intuitive, performant, and aligned with guest needs.
Responsibilities
- Requirements Documentation: Elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements for CMS updates, templates, components, and workflows.
- User Stories & Acceptance Criteria: Create detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria for backlog grooming and sprint planning.
- Process Mapping & Optimization: Map existing content workflows and propose process improvements in collaboration with authors and developers.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders across digital marketing, guest experience, legal, IT, and other departments.
- QA Support: Validate CMS features and changes during UAT to ensure they meet business requirements and deliver value.
- AEM Platform Insight: Provide business-focused insights into AEM capabilities and constraints to inform solution design and prioritization
- Will work closely with product owners, UX designers, developers, QA, and content authors.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst on web and digital projects, ideally with CMS platforms.
- Hands-on knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)—understanding of components, templates, authoring workflows.
- Strong ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence or similar tools.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience working in the airline, travel, or hospitality sectors.
- Understanding of digital accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
- Familiarity with SEO and analytics best practices as they pertain to web content.
- Experience with content migrations, A/B testing, or personalization in AEM.
- Knowledge of localization and translation workflows in a multi-region CMS environment

- Comfortable facilitating meetings and workshops.
