Burnside & Associates Limited is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with about 15 years of building restoration experience to join the Building Restoration Group in Ontario. You will lead projects from concept to completion, manage client relationships, and supervise junior staff in a collaborative, high-performance team.

The role offers flexibility with offices across Ontario and a focus on delivering quality restoration solutions, budgets, schedules, and QA/QC across diverse projects.

Qualifications

• 15 years of building science or building restoration experience.
• Eng. designation with PEO in good standing.
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage building restoration projects including concrete restoration, cladding renewal, roof replacement, and capital planning.
• Lead client engagement, build trust, deliver solutions, and grow relationships.
• Prepare proposals, tender and contract documents, and manage project finances and invoicing.
• Oversee construction-phase services, including contract administration and site inspections.
• Mentor and support junior staff, fostering a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
• Coordinate with contractors, sub-consultants, and approval agencies.
• Track and manage project budgets, schedules, and QA/QC processes.
• Maintain strong, responsive communication with stakeholders at all stages.
