Job summary

Skillhub Solutions Inc. is seeking a Senior Building Automation Systems (BAS) Service Technician to support ongoing operation and optimization of BAS across diverse facilities in Ottawa, ON.

The role entails diagnosing, repairing, and enhancing BAS and control networks, with a focus on energy efficiency and system modernization. You will perform preventive maintenance, commissioning, and programming of HVAC controls, interpreting sequences of operation and network data to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Five to eight years of hands-on BAS or HVAC controls experience, including field service and preventive maintenance.
• Experience with commercial, institutional, or industrial buildings and BAS platforms such as Delta Controls, Siemens, Johnson Controls, Niagara, Automated Logic, or Trane.
• Strong controls and electrical troubleshooting skills; ability to interpret drawings, schematics, and sequences of operation.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience with BACnet, BAS network troubleshooting, customer training, or technical mentoring is an asset.

Compensation and employment

Salary: $90,000–$130,000 per year. Full-time; one position available.
