Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking a Senior Business Unit Accounting Analyst to provide technical guidance and workflow support to the BU Accounting staff, working with the Manager to ensure accurate financial reporting and timely month-end close. You will review reconciliations, perform variance analysis on gross margin, and drive improvements across processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.

This role requires 4+ years in accounting/finance, IFRS proficiency, and experience with Workday or similar

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting/Finance) preferred.
• 4+ years accounting and finance experience.
• Workday or cloud-based ERP experience preferred.
• CPA designation or progress toward CPA is preferred.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and complex reconciliations experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist BU Accounting Manager to guide staff and support month-end close.
• Review monthly reconciliations and high-risk accounts for internal controls.
• Identify and implement process improvements and new workflows.
• Prepare monthly variance analyses for revenue, gross margin and OPEX.
• Monitor business process controls within BU accounting for effectiveness.
• Assist with onboarding and training as needed.
