Job summary

Worley is supporting their client’s Sustaining Capital Program through multidisciplinary engineering and design. The Senior Project Engineer will be the primary technical liaison between Project Management, engineering disciplines, procurement and construction on site in Kitimat, BC.

This role requires relocation to Kitimat or Terrace, BC, with responsibilities spanning safety, risk, and project assurance, and leadership of teams across planning, engineering, procurement and construction to

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
P.Eng. designation in British Columbia or ability to obtain one.
Progressive engineering and project execution experience, at least intermediate to senior level on large capital projects.
Experience managing technical scope within mining projects.
Strong understanding of project management principles, contracts, engineering workflows, and quality management systems.

Responsibilities

Deliver projects safely and in accordance with scope, budget, schedule and quality requirements.
Lead multidisciplinary project teams through all lifecycle phases.
Monitor risks, opportunities, scope changes and resource needs to achieve outcomes.
Manage cash flow, forecasting and cost control across projects.
Build and maintain relationships with customer stakeholders and provide leadership to improve delivery.
