We are looking for a Senior Bridge Engineer to join our growing team in Vancouver! You will work closely with a team of experts working alongside our customers on some of North America's most significant infrastructure projects. We have contributed to local projects like the Golden Ears, Alex Fraser, and the Lions’ Gate Bridges.

Your responsibilities will include planning and developing engineering projects such as inspections, evaluations, rehabilitations, and designs of bridge structures. You will define project scope, develop concepts, make key technical decisions, and grow your skills and responsibilities.

Your key responsibilities will be to :

• Supervise and coordinate teams of engineers and technicians, review work, and mentor junior staff
• Perform structural analysis, design, and evaluation; prepare calculations, drawings, work plans, schedules, and budgets
• Prepare technical documents, specifications, reports, and other technical materials
• Research and review design options considering technical and financial impacts
• Collaborate with professionals, clients, and third parties as needed

Additionally, you will :

• Hold a Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with at least 8 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Be a registered Professional Engineer in British Columbia or be able to obtain registration within 12 months
• Have expertise in 3D structural modelling, bridge design, and modern design codes
• Be familiar with structural design software (AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, SoFistik, CSiBridge) and codes (e.g., CHBDC)
• Experience guiding structural design teams and delivering projects on time and within budget
• Experience as Engineer of Record on BCMOTI or similar projects (asset)
