Job summary

Egis Group in Calgary, Alberta seeks a Senior Bridge Engineer to lead detailed design and delivery of complex bridge projects across transportation infrastructure. You will manage multi-disciplinary teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with Alberta standards, with a track record of 15+ years in steel and concrete bridge design and project management.

You will oversee design, analysis, reports and construction support, driving project success while mentoring junior engineers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng).
• Minimum 15 years of progressive bridge design and/or project management experience.
• Experience with TEC bridge inventory and municipal projects.
• Proficiency with Midas and CSiBridge software.
• Strong knowledge of Alberta bridge standards, CSA S6, AASHTO, AREMA codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed structural design and bridge rehabilitation assignments across project delivery phases.
• Prepare and review structural analysis calculations, models, and design documentation.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets and work programs.
• Produce and review technical reports, specifications, quantities and cost estimates.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design with highway, environmental, drainage and electrical teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical oversight.
