Job summary

S I Systems in Calgary seeks a Senior Business Intelligence and Analytics Architect with 10+ years of experience to design KPI frameworks and analytics solutions using PowerBI, BusinessObjects, and Kimball Dimensional Modelling. This role focuses on dashboards, reporting, and measurement initiatives within a public service context.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a BI and analytics role using PowerBI or BusinessObjects.
• 5+ years with Kimball Dimensional Modelling, data analysis, and requirements gathering.
• 5+ years applying Data Warehousing, BI, Analytics, and Data Integration principles.
• 5+ years with Informatica, semantic layer design, database structures, scripting, Oracle, and SQLServer.
• 3+ years mentoring technical and functional resources on BI&A solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design KPI frameworks to measure outcomes, impact, learning, and organizational readiness.
• Create automated measurement processes for program analytics and reporting.
• Develop performance dashboards and executive reports.
• Produce benefits-realization analyses and annual outcome reporting.
• Gather and document requirements including source-to-target mappings for development teams.
• Analyze program data to communicate performance, outcomes, and value.
• Support evaluation and understanding of emerging technologies through analytics and reporting.
