Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in renewable energy, battery storage, or related tech.
• Strong inverter operation, firmware/software behavior, and control logic knowledge.
• Experience troubleshooting using operational data and event logs.
• Ability to coordinate actions across multiple sites and vendors.
• Proficient in Excel, Smartsheet, and deployment dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Investigate inverter performance issues across BESS projects.
• Perform root-cause analyses of software, firmware, hardware, or power-system causes.
• Define and coordinate retrofit actions with vendors and schedules.
• Maintain vendor issue logs with status, causes, and resolutions.
• Assess firmware/software updates for risks and performance impact.
• Support voltage and frequency regulation troubleshooting.
• Track retrofit rollouts across sites with progress and risks.
• Create deployment dashboards and progress reports.
• Communicate findings clearly to vendors, sites, and management.
• Ensure safety and engineering standards compliance.
