Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of current experience in British Columbia family law practice.
• Ability to handle challenging work and manage files independently.
• Desire to become part of the community served and pursue partnership.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage family law files, optional additional areas of law within firm.
• Handle a wide range of family law matters, including separation agreements, spousal maintenance, and asset division.
• Conduct hearings, discoveries, mediations, and trials.
• Instruct support staff and receive instructions from clients.
• Draft pleadings and speak to chamber applications.
• Negotiate at mediations and appear at trials.
• Manage all aspects of a file from beginning to end.
• Experience in general civil litigation is an asset.
