Job summary

Rebellion, a multi-studio game developer, seeks a senior online backend developer to build and support internal and public APIs. You will work across the full SDLC, emphasizing scalable, performant back-end services and tooling for game engine teams. The role is based in Oxford or Warwick with relocation support.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, utilize NodeJS/JS/TS, and deploy robust serverless functions or cloud-based solutions in AWS.

Qualifications

• Back-end senior or lead with experience building performant distributed APIs.
• Experience across full software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
• Ability to design and maintain scalable backend systems and tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy web applications to support our in-house engine team.
• Maintain and improve existing tools.
