Placements24 is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer for its Kimberley product development team. You will design, develop, and maintain robust APIs powering core services, mentor junior engineers, and influence platform architecture from Kimberley.

You should have 5+ years of backend experience, strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, and databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB. The role emphasizes performance, security, and scalable systems in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, SE, or related field.
• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Node.js, Java, or Go.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL/MongoDB and ORMs.
• Experience with caching, message queues, and distributed systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs.
