Job summary

Affirm is seeking an experienced software engineer to help build the core backend powering our card loan platform. You will design scalable services, implement robust APIs, and work across product and data teams to drive lifecycle strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, prioritization, and execution of projects for card loan platform
• Design and develop large-scale, high-availability services with robust APIs and data models
• Collaborate with Product, Analytics, Design, Legal, and Accounting to define requirements and lifecycle strategies
• Ensure system health and performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive scalable improvements
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices through code reviews
