Job summary

Johnson Controls Canada is seeking an experienced Baan ERP Admin Support Consultant to join our IT team. You will manage and maintain Baan IV, ERP LN FP3 and LN 10.4 ERP instances, ensuring stability, performance, and security across installations, configurations, patching, and user access management.

With 15+ years in ERP administration and strong Oracle SQL/PLSQL experience, you will collaborate with DBAs and developers, provide production support, and help document and audit processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• 15+ years of experience with Baan Admin Support.
• Strong knowledge of Baan ERP architecture (Baan IV, Baan Va/Vb, ERP LN FP3 and LN 10.4).
• Experience with Oracle database administration (SQL, PL/SQL).
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Knowledge of identity management, networking and security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Platform Management: Install, configure, and maintain Baan IV, ERP LN FP3 and LN 10.4 ERP applications; monitor health and performance; patching, upgrades and cloning; manage user access and security.
• Database Administration: Work with DBA team on Oracle/SQL Server connectivity; backup and disaster recovery planning; optimize queries and indexes.
• Application Support: Provide support for Baan ERP applications; collaborate with development teams for Test and Production deployments.
• Documentation and audits: Develop technical docs; support internal/external audits and implement corrective actions.
• Mentoring: Guide junior consultants and contribute to best practices.
