Job summary

Maarut is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer in Toronto to lead automation, configuration, deployment, and monitoring of Azure-based enterprise platforms. You will drive CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, release automation, and secure deployment practices across development to production, collaborating with architects, cyber security, and operations teams.

Experience designing CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and infrastructure as code.
Experience with Azure infrastructure, platform services, networking, identity, monitoring, and security.
Experience operating microservices, APIs, distributed applications, and cloud-based development tools.
Strong collaboration with developers, architects, security, testers, and operations teams.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation for enterprise platform applications.
Provision and configure cloud infrastructure and platform services using approved automation practices.
Develop and maintain tools, scripts, APIs, and reusable automation to improve productivity.
Contribute production-quality code, including unit tests, reviews, and documentation.
Diagnose and resolve application, deployment, and infrastructure issues.
Coordinate releases, environment readiness, rollback, and stabilization.
Maintain runbooks, configuration records, and knowledge-transfer materials.
