Qualifications

• Five+ years of professional Angular development experience.
• Experience with Angular upgrades and migrations following Angular Update Guide practices.
• Strong knowledge of Bootstrap 5 and practical experience with Tailwind CSS.
• Experience migrating user interfaces between CSS frameworks.
• Proven ability to reduce production dependency on third-party templates/themes.
• Strong track record replacing jQuery/legacy DOM patterns with component-driven Angular approaches.
• Experience versioning/distributing internal packages via private registries (e.g., npm, Azure Artifacts, GitHub Packages).
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for publishing/consuming shared packages across repositories.
• Experience planning incremental/parallel migrations across multiple live apps.
• Attention to detail, collaborative problem solving, and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Audit usage of shared templates and legacy scripting across Angular apps.
• Design and build an internal Angular component library with reusable navigation, layout, and theming.
• Establish scalable library structure using an Angular workspace or npm-packaged solution.
• Define migration path away from third-party templates while preserving UX and visuals.
• Evaluate transitions from Bootstrap to Tailwind CSS.
• Replace legacy jQuery/DOM manipulation with maintainable Angular components.
• Develop strategy to remove blockers for future Angular upgrades.
• Coordinate phased adoption of the shared library across multiple teams.
• Establish tooling for component documentation, visual regression testing, versioning, and release management.
• Partner with design stakeholders to ensure themeable experiences across apps.
• Create migration guides and provide technical support to adopting teams.
• Apply incremental migration techniques (feature flags, strangler pattern).
• Contribute to a reusable, independently versioned application shell supporting multiple apps.
• Promote knowledge sharing and best practices across development teams.
