Job summary

GIRO in Montreal is seeking a Senior Developer to design and implement Azure and Kubernetes-based deployment platforms, contributing to cloud-hosted products. You will work in a Cloud First environment and help automate delivery on Microsoft Azure.

You have a strong background in cloud architectures, 10+ years in Azure/Kubernetes, and experience with Terraform, PowerShell, ADO, Windows and Linux. Join a collaborative team that embraces Agile SCRUM and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience building Azure cloud solutions and Kubernetes.
• Deep expertise in Azure networking, core services, architectural patterns, configuration tools, and troubleshooting.

• Optimize cloud resource utilization, including monitoring, auto-scaling, resiliency, and Kubernetes environments.

The Cloud Hosting Solutions team is responsible for developing and maintaining a variety of tools and systems that automate continuous delivery and deployment processes on Microsoft Azure. The team is also responsible for developing our cloud hosting solution for our clients.

THE SKILLS THAT WILL MAKE YOU A KEY MEMBER OF OUR TEAM

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another relevant discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience building Azure cloud solutions and working with Kubernetes.
• Strong ability to analyze complex situations and propose creative, effective solutions across all levels, whether related to system architecture, client issue resolution, or any other systems under the team’s responsibility.
• Deep expertise in Azure, including networking, core services, architectural patterns, configuration tools, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Proficiency with the following tools and technologies: Terraform, Kubernetes, PowerShell, Azure DevOps (ADO), Windows, and Linux environments.
