Job summary

The Jim Pattison Toyota on Regent in Winnipeg is seeking aSenior Accounting Administrator to join our team. This role blends accounting with office operations, providing hands-on support across dealership accounting and related admin tasks.

You will reconcile accounts, process AP/AR, assist with month-end procedures, and help prepare financial reports for management. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in accounting or senior admin roles, strong Excel skills, and experience in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or senior administrative accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of AP, AR, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Experience in an automotive dealership or collision centre environment preferred.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
• Ability to prioritize deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Post-secondary education in accounting, business administration or related field is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile departmental accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Process and verify accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and assist with collections as required.
• Review repair orders, invoices, and supporting documentation for accuracy.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations and assist with month-end procedures.
• Prepare, maintain, and distribute financial reports for management review.
• Provide backup support for vehicle deal processing, posting, and funding activities.
