Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Software & Automation Developer with deep experience in backend development and a strong DevOps mindset to join our high-performing global team. This role is ideal for a self-driven professional with proven technical leadership, passionate about building scalable systems and driving automation across complex environments. The successful candidate will bring hands-on expertise in Python, Node.js, RESTful APIs, Django, and Ansible, along with a strong grasp of CI/CD practices and infrastructure as code.

This position offers the opportunity to contribute strategically, mentor others, and act as a key technical escalation point in a collaborative, multicultural environment.

Responsibilities
  • Architect and implement end-to-end automation using Ansible, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps tooling.
  • Align automation practices with enterprise standards to support global scalability and maintainability.
  • Drive infrastructure improvements, observability, and system resilience across environments.
  • Proactively identify areas for automation, improvement, and performance optimization.
  • Develop and maintain scalable backend solutions using Python, Node.js, and Django.
  • Build and integrate robust RESTful APIs with internal systems and third-party services.
  • Lead peer reviews, optimize performance, and enforce coding best practices.
  • Contribute to full-cycle development: from design to deployment and post-release support.
  • Partner with architects and product owners to design enterprise-grade solutions.
  • Serve as a technical mentor and coach for junior and mid-level developers.
  • Evaluate and introduce new tools, frameworks, and methodologies that enhance the team’s productivity and technical capabilities.
  • Stay current with industry trends and ensure adoption of relevant innovations.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand needs, translate them into technical designs, and deliver impactful solutions.
  • Ensure technical decisions align with product roadmaps and business strategy.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, balancing technical depth and business understanding.
  • Establish configuration and deployment standards, ensuring compliance and audit readiness.
  • Contribute to data architecture planning and enable seamless data flow across systems.
  • Support infrastructure automation, monitoring, and recovery processes.
  • Promote agile development, continuous delivery, and DevOps culture.
  • Lead sprint planning, retrospectives, and process improvements.
  • Ensure consistent and transparent communication around technical progress, risks, and timelines.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in backend software development and DevOps in enterprise environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python and Node.js.
  • Experience with Django or similar backend frameworks.
  • Proficiency with Ansible and automation tools.
  • Experience with REST API design and integration.
  • Hands-on experience with Git, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and ownership-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively across time zones and cultures.
  • Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
