Job summary

Charger Logistics Inc. in Brampton, Ontario, is seeking a Senior Audit Accountant to drive audit readiness, coordinate external audits, and support financial reporting across multiple entities.

You will partner with Accounting and Finance, maintain evidence and schedules, and lead cross-functional meetings to ensure timely quarterly and year-end deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in Accounting, Audit Support, Assurance, Financial Reporting, or Compliance.
• Strong General Ledger accounting, AP/AR reconciliations, and financial reporting processes.
• Experience supporting external audits, including documentation, evidence packages, reconciliations, and testing samples.
• Proficiency with ERP systems; Workday, Sage 300, QuickBooks or similar accounting platforms is an asset.
• Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• CPA designation or progress toward CPA is considered an asset.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Accounting team to prepare audit evidence packages and schedules.
• Perform AP/AR reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
• Support revenue audit samples and reconcile mileage reports to recognized revenue.
• Maintain Evidence Binder Collections (EBCs) and audit documentation.
• Manage the audit lifecycle, tracking requests, deliverables, and status.
• Support quarterly close audit and compliance activities with audit programs.
• Lead cross-functional meetings to coordinate deliverables and timelines.
• Partner with Accounting and Finance to sustain audit readiness and drive process improvements.
