Job summary

MUFG Investor Services, Toronto-based, seeks a Senior Associate Director, Nexus, Investor Delivery, to partner with senior leadership on initiatives, budgets, and investor governance. The role leads a team, drives client onboarding, and ensures accurate reporting and cash management across funds.

• Experience in fund administration with leadership or mentoring responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of the fund industry and investor operations.
• Ability to manage resources and balance risk in operations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership to support departmental initiatives, projects, and budget management.
• Contribute to the delivery of team objectives while ensuring compliance with policies related to investor registration, transactions, reporting, and cash management.
• Ensure a smooth and professional client integration experience, fostering positive relationships with all stakeholders.
• Address and resolve sensitive or escalated inquiries from clients, investors, fund managers, or internal teams with professionalism and care.
• Collaborate with internal AML teams and administrators to ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
• Review and sign off on schedules, reports, and files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
• Allocate team resources effectively to meet service level agreements and operational goals.
• Offer guidance on performance of team members to the team manager through regular feedback, mentoring, coaching sessions and career development discussions, while adhering to company standards for annual performance reviews.
• Participate in the internal Client Relationship Management (CRM) framework, including regular service reviews with clients and internal partners.
• Experience in fund administration with leadership or mentoring responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of the fund industry and investor operations.
• Demonstrate business logic and risk adverse approach to resource management and operations
• Experience with Investran and Yardi would be considered an asset
