Job summary

Spencer's – Spirit Halloween in Mississauga, Canada seeks an Assistant Store Manager to lead guest services and assist the Store Manager in driving sales and profitability. You will help develop staff, manage merchandising and inventory, and ensure adherence to company policies.

The role is salary tied to hourly compensation, with a typical schedule up to 38 hours per week and the physical demands of lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and/or management experience is required.
• Minimum age 18.
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining Guest Services.
• Support the Store Manager in operations to maximize sales and profitability by developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage, and overseeing merchandising and inventory control.
• This position will work up to 38 hours per week.
• The minimum age requirement for an Assistant Store Manager is 18.
• The physical demands include standing, walking, climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining Guest Services.
• The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store, ensuring maximum sales and profitability by developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage as well as all aspects of merchandising and inventory control in adherence with all Company policies and procedures.
• This position will work up to 38 hours per week.
• The minimum age requirement for an Assistant Store Manager is 18.
• The physical demands of the job require in excess of 8 hours of standing, walking, climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Prior retail and or management experience is required.
