Position Overview

As a Senior Art Director, you will be responsible for driving the artistic vision for a AAA project, ensuring high-quality deliverables that align with the project and our partners' goals. You will lead the vision and supervise our internal artistic teams. You'll work closely with the creative director, the group of directors and production to shape visual aesthetics, from concept art to in-build final assets. You will also be involved in game pitches and in the elaboration of the artistic vision to illustrate these concepts.

Responsibilities

In this role you will:

• Lead the artistic direction for game projects, from concept through to final execution.
• Collaborate with creative teams and clients to ensure alignment with the project’s artistic vision.
• Guide and mentor a diverse team of artists, animators, and designers.
• Lead the process of defining objectives, standards, processes and feedback mechanisms.
• Approve and participate in the creation of visual elements, define quality standards, content structure and optimization.

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor of Arts or another related degree, or equivalent experience.
• At least seven years of experience as Art Director or Lead Artist.
• You have experience working with AAA Games and delivered at least one title of high quality.
• Experience overseeing an entire project as Art Director and communicating the vision to the team.
• Excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of the creative process.
• Knowledge of VFX, Animation, Art and Design.
• Experience in creating original intellectual properties in a video game context or working for a major franchise.
• Proficiency in English.

Nice to have:

• Mastery of Photoshop, knowledge of Maya.
