Senior Architectural Technologist

Location:

In-Office Toronto

Salary:

$80,000+ (commensurate with experience)

Overview:

Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Architectural Technologist to join their in-office team and contribute to the production and coordination of a long-term healthcare project in Ontario. This is a great opportunity for a senior-level production professional who takes pride in quality documentation and enjoys working as part of a large, collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Produce high-quality design development and construction documents for large-scale projects.
2. Work within shared Revit models on multidisciplinary teams, contributing to accurate, coordinated, and timely drawing packages.
3. Ensure compliance with project standards, building codes, and client requirements.
4. Collaborate with internal teams and consultants to resolve design and technical issues.
5. Review and improve drawing quality and documentation clarity.

Qualifications:

1. 8+ years of experience in a production-focused architectural role (DD & CD phases).
2. Advanced proficiency in Revit, including drafting, modeling, and detailing.
3. Experience on large project teams and working within complex, shared models.
4. Strong understanding of Canadian building codes and construction detailing.
5. P3 (Public-Private Partnership) project experience is an asset but not required.
6. Demonstrated longevity and commitment in past roles is strongly preferred.
7. Must be able to provide samples of technical drawing packages prior to interviews.
8. Proactive, collaborative, and receptive to direction, with a genuine care for producing excellent work.
