Your Role

We want to discuss how your skills, experience, goals, and passions can align with JLR. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Working directly with architects, engineers, and technologists as part of an integrated multidisciplinary project team at all stages, from concept design to completion.
  2. Participating in meetings and working closely with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to develop projects.
  3. Preparing tenders, construction drawings, and reports for industrial and commercial projects.
  4. Collaborating and communicating ideas clearly through verbal and graphic means, utilizing tools like drawing/sketching, modeling, diagramming, and 3D work (Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp).
  5. Assisting project teams during all project phases.
  6. Coordinating with other disciplines on multidisciplinary projects.
  7. Conducting technical, multidisciplinary, and peer reviews.
  8. Leading the architectural technologist group and mentoring junior staff.
  9. Traveling between JLR offices and project sites across Ontario and Canada as needed.
