What We Offer

As the Senior Architectural Production Technologist, you will support architectural services within the company, focusing on providing the best homeowner experience. Your responsibilities include creating lot-specific plans, collaborating with various departments, and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare construction drawings and documents for construction, internal staff, and external consultants.
2. Review plot plans for lot-specific homes.
3. Analyze grading conditions for new phase setups to support sales teams.
4. Ensure architectural controls are correctly applied across divisions as directed by corporate standards.
5. Assist in managing, coaching, and developing staff for high performance and future growth.
6. Help develop drawing standards and improve plan efficiencies.
7. Conduct site visits to verify or improve master plan drawings.
8. Support departmental objectives by assisting team members as directed.
9. Ensure all architectural documentation complies with company standards and relevant codes.
10. Participate in value engineering of new designs.
11. Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications

1. 8+ years of residential builder experience.
2. Diploma from an accredited Architectural Technologist or Certified Engineering Technologist program.
3. Strong AutoCAD skills, including use of multiple X-refs, layer management, and file organization.
4. Basic to intermediate Revit skills.
5. Organized and detail-oriented.
6. Problem-solving skills related to construction detailing.
7. Proven ability to meet schedules.
8. Ability to work collaboratively under deadlines.
9. Understanding of the development permit and building permit processes for Calgary, Airdrie, Edmonton, and Strathcona County.
10. Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
