Abbotsford, BC
Design Leadership. Project Management. Career Growth.
Salary: $95,000 to $120,000+ Depending on Experience
Our client is a well established and growing architectural practice with multiple offices across Western Canada. Known for its collaborative approach, technical expertise, and commitment to delivering high quality projects, the firm works across a diverse range of sectors including multifamily residential, commercial, industrial, and community developments.
With a strong and growing portfolio of work throughout British Columbia, their Abbotsford office is seeking a Senior Architect or Senior Architectural Designer to join their leadership team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing design excellence with project leadership while working closely with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams.
This is an opportunity to join a highly collaborative practice where architects and designers are trusted to take ownership of their projects and play an active role in shaping both the design and delivery process.
The firm offers a diverse mix of project work, providing excellent variety while placing a strong emphasis on multifamily wood frame residential developments. You'll work alongside experienced professionals in an environment that values collaboration, mentorship, continuous learning, and long term career growth.
If you're looking for a role where you can lead projects, mentor others, strengthen client relationships, and continue developing professionally, this is an outstanding opportunity.
Reporting to senior leadership, you'll be responsible for leading projects from the earliest planning stages through design development, permitting, construction documentation, and construction administration.
You will oversee project planning, coordinate multidisciplinary consultant teams, manage project schedules and budgets, and serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the life of each project. Success in this role requires someone who is equally comfortable leading design discussions, solving technical challenges, and managing the day to day delivery of complex architectural projects.
While the firm delivers projects across a broad range of sectors, experience leading multifamily wood frame residential developments is essential, as this represents a significant portion of the current workload.
