Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in a mechanical or related engineering discipline.
• Experience across mechanical and electrical disciplines is valued.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical/electrical/mechatronics/industrial automation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex machinery and systems meeting customer requirements.
• Review customer specs, drawings, and scopes of work.
• Identify risks, gaps, and information needs during proposals.
• Prepare technical comments, assumptions, and exceptions for customer proposals.
• Develop preliminary mechanical concepts and layouts using SolidWorks.
• Evaluate integration of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and control systems.
• Support cross-functional teams in proposal development and technical reviews.
