Position Summary

The Senior Application Analyst - Outpatient, Kaleidoscope, Wisdom, and Referrals is a key member of the Digital Software Services (DSS) team. This role supports clinical and business applications, participates in system support, upgrades, testing, and contributes to organizational success through enthusiasm and dedication.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for IT applications
  • Maintain knowledge of supported applications
  • Support applications daily, troubleshoot issues with vendors and users
  • Test new releases, upgrades, and fixes
  • Participate in planning application upgrades with stakeholders
  • Conduct end-user meetings and training
  • Participate in Digital projects and initiatives
  • Document issues and resolutions
  • Participate in team meetings and on-call support
  • Adhere to hospital policies and safety regulations
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, health informatics, or equivalent
  • Epic certification(s) preferred
  • Proficiency with software tools such as Visio, MS Project, Excel, Word, SharePoint
  • Understanding of IT concepts and healthcare systems
  • Experience with clinical systems and applications in healthcare
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to learn new technologies
