Job summary

boosted is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our remote-first team in Canada. You will design, build, and maintain robust data systems across domains, applying dimensional modeling principles and modern methodologies.

The role focuses on advanced analytics, semantic layers, and self-service reporting for clients. You will mentor analysts, collaborate with data engineers and scientists, and stay ahead of industry trends while delivering impactful insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field is preferred; a Master’s is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of data analysis experience, preferably in consulting or services.
• Strong SQL skills are required; Python or R is a plus.
• Experience with data modeling, ETL, and database design.
• Proficiency with Tableau/Power BI/Looker for visualization.
• Excellent communication and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Experience in Crypto/Retail/Health/Insurance sectors is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced data analysis to support product and growth analytics.
• Develop semantic layers, data models, and reporting solutions for clients.
• Design and maintain dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights.
• Collaborate with clients to translate needs into analytical requirements.
