Senior Analyst, Strategic Planning and Decision Support - Contract

Join to apply for the Senior Analyst, Strategic Planning and Decision Support - Contract role at Chartwell Retirement Residences.

Scope of the position: Reporting to the Senior Manager, Strategic Planning & Decision Support, the incumbent will contribute through analysis and reporting to support departmental goals. This role supports Chartwell’s operational decision-making by providing accurate reporting related to Canadian retirement communities and assisting in monitoring operational metrics.

Key Activities include:

• Supporting various departments with reporting and analysis, including financial, sales, and occupancy metrics.
• Supporting strategic planning and operational analysis, including invoice and revenue reviews, staffing comparisons, and process improvements.
• Participating in budgeting and forecasting processes, including consolidating budgets, analyzing variances, and preparing reports for senior management.
• Supporting the development and maintenance of operational and financial models, including Hyperion, Power BI, Snowflake, and others.
• Collaborating with external partners and supporting system projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education, preferably with CFA, CMA, CGA, CA designations.
• At least 5 years of experience in financial reporting, planning, budgeting, or analysis.
• Bilingual in French/English is preferred.
• Experience in seniors housing, healthcare, or real estate sectors is an asset.
• Proficiency with BI tools and financial systems such as OneStream, Hyperion, Power BI, Snowflake, etc.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in Excel and data management.
