This is a 12-month contract position with options for full-time in Toronto, hybrid, or remote work.

Position Summary

Our Analytics team is integral to our business strategy. We seek a data-driven Senior Analyst to support cross-functional initiatives by uncovering insights through advanced data modeling and delivering impactful reports to inform decision-making.

The ideal candidate recognizes solutions in data sets and can translate insights into strategic opportunities. Responsibilities include ensuring data accuracy, designing processes, and using predictive modeling to derive key insights that support business outcomes.

What You Will Do

1. Lead projects using advanced data modeling (SQL, Snowflake) to generate insights that influence strategic decisions across Sales, Marketing, Customer Adoption & Health, and Customer Success.
2. Interpret and communicate analytical results to stakeholders, providing actionable insights.
3. Manage executive reporting in Power BI, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
4. Develop operational reporting to transition from lagging to predictive metrics.
5. Monitor and resolve data quality issues to maintain report reliability.
6. Create user-friendly data visualizations in Power BI to communicate trends and opportunities.
7. Collaborate with data engineering to optimize data pipelines and ensure real-time data access in Snowflake.
8. Streamline reporting processes and automate analyses to improve efficiency.
9. Advise business leaders on performance trends and market opportunities.
10. Document reporting processes and data sources to support governance.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 5+ years experience in data insights roles, preferably in SaaS.
• Proficiency with SQL, Power BI, and data visualization tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Snowflake, and data mining/statistical software.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and proven project delivery.
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to manage multiple processes and projects effectively.
• Customer-oriented with excellent communication skills across organizational levels.
• Interest in AI and exploring AI-driven solutions.
