Job summary

IG Wealth Management, part of IGM Financial, seeks a Senior Analyst, Financial Reporting to join our Finance team. You will work on consolidation of strategic investments, MD&A notes, and board reporting, while driving automation and AI-assisted improvements.

This hybrid role offers growth in a collaborative environment with senior leadership. Ideal candidates have CPA designation (or near completion) and strong Excel skills, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in financial reporting for

• Minimum of 3 years' experience preparing financial information for management and external reporting.
• Post-secondary degree and a CPA designation (or near completion).
• Advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end management reporting and analysis for senior management, the Board of Directors, and Board Committees.
• Support consolidation and equity-accounting of strategic investments including preparation of supporting schedules and analysis.
• Contribution to MD&A, financial statement note preparation, and quarterly close deliverables.
• Involvement in finance systems and process automation initiatives, including AI assisted process enhancements.
• Engage in ad-hoc corporate and departmental projects as required.

Position

Reporting to the AVP, Strategic Investments & Accounting Research, the Senior Analyst, Financial Reporting plays an important role in the preparation and analysis of the consolidated results of IGM Financial Inc. and its Strategic Investments. This role provides unique exposure to the accounting and reporting implications of strategic investments, executive and Board reporting, and enterprise-wide finance transformation initiatives.
