Job summary

Avanade Inc. is seeking a data engineering professional in Canada to design, develop, and support modern analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric and cloud-native services.

You will build data pipelines, craft data transformations, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions. The role requires 3 to 6 years of experience, strong Python and SQL skills, and familiarity with ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehousing concepts, and analytics

Skills & Experience

• 3 to 6 years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational and analytical data platforms.
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformations.
• Understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, dimensional modeling, and modern analytics architectures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada Secret Security Clearance.
