Job summary

Avanade Canada Inc. is seeking a data engineer to design, develop, and support data analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric and cloud-native services in a collaborative Canada-based environment.

The role requires 3–6 years of data engineering/analytics experience, strong Python and SQL skills, and the ability to engage with stakeholders. You will build ETL pipelines, contribute to governance, and stay current with emerging AI technologies.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, BI, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Strong SQL skills with relational and analytical data platforms.
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformations.
• Understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, dimensional modeling, and modern analytics architectures.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada Secret Security Clearance.

• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformations.
• Understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, dimensional modeling, and modern analytics architectures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada Secret Security Clearance.
