Opportunity: Senior Quantitative Analyst/Developer

Join Project B, a company specializing in financial intelligence, developing internal tools and AI-based solutions to analyze and leverage data innovatively. We aim to build a strong development team led by an experienced senior developer.

Main Responsibilities

1. Identify and categorize chart patterns across different timeframes (e.g., flags, bisections, head and shoulders, cups with handles).
2. Perform visual and algorithmic analyses of historical charts to extract repeatable alpha signals.
3. Integrate technical signals into machine learning pipelines and systematic strategies.
4. Collaborate with quantitative analysts, developers, and researchers to improve pattern recognition frameworks.
5. Develop and test trading logics based on chart structures and momentum dynamics.

Job Requirements

1. Over 10 years of relevant experience.
2. Strong expertise in technical analysis, including mastery of classical chart patterns.
3. Experience with charting platforms (e.g., TradingView, MetaTrader, Bloomberg, ThinkorSwim).
4. Programming experience, ideally in Python, for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
5. Knowledge of time series, financial indicators, and strategy testing.
6. Comfort with noisy data, false signals, and validating competitive advantages.
7. Experience with machine learning models (e.g., scikit-learn, XGBoost, LSTM).
8. Familiarity with backtesting frameworks such as Backtrader, Zipline, or equivalents.
9. Understanding of market microstructure, order flow, and volume analysis.
10. Experience with alternative data or signals derived from satellite imagery.
11. Previous experience in hedge funds, proprietary trading desks, or algorithmic trading environments.
