Job summary

Haventree Bank, a Schedule I Canadian bank, is hiring a Senior AML Investigator in Toronto to identify and mitigate money laundering and financing risks. You will analyze trends, prepare case files, and train staff to strengthen risk awareness across the organization.

The role reports to the Director, AML Compliance and requires 3–5 years’ experience in financial services, AML knowledge, and relevant professional designations.

Qualifications

  • University degree required and professional AML designation.
  • Experience in financial services and anti-money laundering compliance.
  • Familiarity with mortgage and deposit products and broker channels.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts detailed AML and fraud investigations and documents findings.
  • Prepares case files with evidence, conclusions, and actions taken.
  • Recommends changes to procedures to mitigate identified risks.
  • Develops and delivers AML training for employees.
  • Performs compliance testing and risk assessments of practices.
  • Maintains compliance records, logs and reporting materials.
  • Assists with policy updates and periodic reviews of accounts.
  • Ensures timely regulatory reporting and back-ups as needed.
